The VictoriaMetrics Astronauts

Aliaksandr is a co-founder and the principal architect of VictoriaMetrics. He is also a well-known author of the popular performance-oriented libraries: fasthttp, fastcache and quicktemplate. Prior to VictoriaMetrics, Aliaksandr held CTO and Architect roles with adtech companies serving high volumes of traffic. He holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering and currently resides in San Francisco, USA. He decided to found VictoriaMetrics after experiencing the shortcomings of all available time series databases and monitoring solutions.

Dima is a co-founder of VictoriaMetrics and a well-known expert in machine learning technologies. Before VictoriaMetrics, Dima worked in the self-driving and space industries before being called to entrepreneurship. He holds a Master of Science in Mathematics and is an avid mountain climber and air sports enthusiast. Dima currently resides in San Francisco, USA.

Roman is a software engineer with experience in distributed systems, monitoring and high-performance services. The idea to create VictoriaMetrics took shape when Roman and Aliaksandr were working at the same company. Prior to joining the VictoriaMetrics team, Roman worked as an engineer at Cloudflare in London. He lives in Austria with his wife and son.

Artem is a software engineer with extensive experience in distributed systems and public clouds. Before co-founding VictoriaMetrics, Artem worked on the VMware Solution for Microsoft in Azure and built the GCVE product in Google. His focus at VictoriaMetrics is on execution. Artem holds a master's degree in computer science. He is Ukrainian and currently lives in Poland.
